The Performance Medicine Pathway is a clinically led, multidisciplinary programme designed to assess, optimise and reassess human health and performance, capacity and injury risk over a defined 12-week period. 

The Performance Medicine Programme is a structured, evidence-based approach to improving recovery, resilience, and performance through intelligent management of training load, recovery, and lifestyle factors, not pay-as-you-go reactive care.

All programmes are clinically led, combining in-person assessment with ongoing online coaching, therapy integration, and professional oversight to ensure progress is appropriate, sustainable, and personalised.

The programme does not replace GP or hospital care and does not claim to diagnose or treat medical disease.

Why this exists

Most clinics treat symptoms as they appear. This is known as reactive care.

THE CORE OBJECTIVE

 

The goal of the Performance Medicine Programme is to provide clinical oversight of training, recovery, and load management, ensuring that what you do between sessions supports long-term progress rather than setbacks.

 

The programme is designed to:

  • Reduce guesswork around training and recovery

  • Improve movement quality and strength capacity

  • Support consistency across work, sport, and life demands

  • Educate you so you understand how to manage your own health and performance

HOW THE PROGRAMME WORKS

1) Comprehensive Performance Assessment

The programme begins with a detailed assessment to establish clear baselines and priorities.

This Includes:

  • Strength, load, and movement analysis 

  • Metabolic and cardiovascular profiling

  • Review of medical history, previous injuries, lifestyle mapping and the year ahead.

  • DNA active assessment to identify recovery capacity and risk factors

  • Optional Blood biomarker testing, Cortisol (DUTCH) testing, imaging referral. (Additional fees apply)

This information guides all training, recovery, and progression decisions.

PROGRAMME OPTIONS

1) Performance Foundations

Focused on building strong foundations in movement, strength, and recovery with structured training and clinical oversight.

Includes:

  • Full performance assessment

  • Personalised training and recovery plan

  • In-clinic neuromuscular training (where appropriate)

  • Online personal training and weekly coach check-ins (a discount will apply if you have your own coach you want us to work with)

  • Soft tissue Therapy, Laser therapy, and recovery support

  • Basic Nutritional Support, Advice & Recommendations

  • Ongoing clinical oversight
